Anna M. Wolff

Anna Mae McMillion Loving Wolff, 64, left her earthly body to be present with the Lord on Monday, August 22, 2016 after a courageous battle with Lung Cancer. Anna was born in Terry, West Virginia and resided in Chesapeake. Anna was a dedicated Veteran of the Army National Guard and truly felt it an honor to serve her country. She ran her own cleaning business until she became too ill to continue. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend to many. Anna was predeceased by her father, Russell A. McMillion, Sr, both maternal and paternal grandparents, sister, Phyllis Queen, brother, Russell A McMillion, Jr, Nieces, Meghan McMillion, Crystal Crabb and nephew Ronnie McMillion, Jr. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Marshall L. Wolff, Jr of Chesapeake, son Mark Queen of San Francisco, California, mother, Norma L. McMillion of Chesapeake, Sisters, Norma Nelson (Benny), Diana Kallenberger (Bill) and Joan Bell (Steve) of Chesapeake and Donna Rice of Virginia Beach. Brothers, Bob McMillion (Mary), Donnie McMillion both of Chesapeake and Ronnie McMillion, Sr of Portsmouth. Also left to cherish her memories are a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and a lifelong friend, Gloria Loving. Anna had two dogs that she adored, Nellie and Booga. Anna had a special relationship with three great nieces, Kayla, Mariah and Marissa Coleman; she was their guardian until she entered Hospice. She was an avid Redskins fan, enjoyed playing bingo, and loved spur of the moment trips to Atlantic City or Dover Casinos. Family was everything to her. She lived her life with faith and courage and always put the needs of others above her own. She brought happiness to everyone she met and brightened the lives of those around her. She was a true inspiration and we were Blessed to have her in our family. Family will receive friends from 6-8 pm at Loving Funeral Home on Thursday, August 25, 2016. Services will be at 11:00 am on Friday, August, 26, 2016 at Community Church 1935 Jolliff Road by Pastors Joey Covey and Jason Gillikin. Interment to follow at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends at her sister, Joan Bell's home in Chesapeake immediately following the service. The family would like to extend their appreciation to Compassionate Care Hospice for caring for her during her final months. A special thanks to Sheryl Lassiter, Nikki, Clementine and Melva who worked with Anna on a personal level.
