James Anthony Luck

It is with deep sorrow and immense love that we announce the passing of James Anthony Luck (Tony), who passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at the age of 58. Tony was a Navy Veteran, devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, cherished son and brother, and a loyal friend to many. He was known for his strong work ethic, generous heart, and unwavering dedication to the people he loved. Whether helping a friend in need, supporting his family, or lending a hand without hesitation. James lived a life defined by kindness, loyalty, and compassion. He was a true car enthusiast. Tony found joy in everything automotive. From restoring classic cars, attending car shows, working in the garage, and sharing stories, his passion brought him happiness and connected him with countless friends and fellow enthusiasts over the years. Some of his happiest moments were spent watching his grandchildren share in his passions. Above all else, Tony treasured his family. He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and memories that will continue to live in the hearts of those who knew him. Tony is survived by his beloved wife, Deborah Luck; his three children, Cher Balsey and her husband, Adam; Gavin Clingenpeel; and Jarrod Clingenpeel and his wife, Jessica. His cherished grandchildren are Karina, Anika, Hayden, Kyleigh, Peyton, and Parker. He is also survived by his loving mother, Barbara Luck, his two brothers, Keith Luck and Russell Luck, and his spouse, Sonya Luck. As well as his nephew, Chase Luck, and his niece, Stevi Fowler. Several uncles, aunts, and cousins. Tony was preceded in death by his father, Charles Luck. The family will receive friends at Loving Funeral Home on Sunday, June 7, 2026, from 2:00 to 3:30. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 8, 2026, at 10:00 at Loving Funeral Home. Entombment will be done with Military Honors at Meadowbrook Cemetery, on Shoulders Hill Road, in Suffolk. Family and close friends are invited to gather in remembrance and honor of a man who meant so much to so many. "Those we love never truly leave us.
