Robert C. “Bobby” Wilkerson III, 70, passed away on Sept. 22, 2018. He was a native of Churchland a retired banker an avid outdoorsman and a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church. Bobby was predeceased by his parents Betty Anne and Bob Wilkerson and his first wife Jeanette. He is survived by his son Alex Wilkerson and his mother Millie Wilkerson; 3 sisters Cheryl Wilkerson, Betsy Laster and Flip Atkinson, Mollie Sarver and Buddy; a niece Stephanie Wilkinson and Justin; great niece and great nephew Dakota and Austin Wilkinson; and many other devoted family members and friends. A graveside service will be held at 10 am Thursday at Churchland Baptist Church Cemetery with military honors. The family will receive friends in Loving Funeral Home Wednesday from 6:30-8pm. A memorial service will be held at St. John’s Episcopal Church 424 Washington St, Portsmouth, VA 23704 at 4pm on Sunday, September 30, 2018.
