Elaine Credle Lamm, 71, went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 25, 2019. Elaine was a 1966 graduate of Churchland High School a member of Victory Chapter #16 Order of the Eastern Star and retired from Newport News Shipyard after 35 years of service as a Pipefitter. Elaine was a devoted daughter and mother. Her dad nicknamed her “Sergeant Major” and she was proud of that name. Elaine was predeceased by her parents Maxine and Marvin Credle. She is survived by her devoted husband Barry Lamm; daughter Elizabeth M. Cespesdes; grandson Charles; step daughter Lauren Boyce and family; brother Marvin Credle, Jr. and family. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Loving Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Potter officiating. An Eastern Star service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday with visitation to follow until 3:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private.
