"Sandy" Mason Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Sanford “Sandy” Mason was called home on June 22, 2022. There he joins his wife of fifty-two years, Doree Mason; his mother, Helen Brodie; his stepfather, Phil Brodie; his father, Sanford Mason; his stepson, Wayne, and his son in law, Danny Carrow. Sandy is survived by his two daughters, Kimberly Mason Hux (Kemp Hux) and Denise Carrow; as well as three grandchildren, Michelle, Taylor, Kameron; two step grandchildren, Misty, Michael: three great grandchildren, Jason, Courtney, Haley; five step great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and his brother, Conrad Jeffrey Brodie. A veteran of the Army Reserves, Sandy had a strong work ethic and loved his church. The Funeral Service will be offered on Wednesday, June 29th at 11 am at Churchland Assembly of God, 4209 Twin Pines Road. Committal at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens to immediately follow the service. A viewing and visitation will be held from 4:30-6 pm at Loving Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 28th. Flowers may be sent to the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may also be made in his honor to The Wounded Warrior Project. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the nurses at Maryview Hospital, and the staff of Maryview Hospice.
