Jennifer Leigh Orosz

Jennifer Leigh Orosz, 47, passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2025. Jennifer was a loving and devoted daughter, sister, mother, and friend. Jennifer was one of many talents. Talents that not only gave her joy but also spread joy to others. Her sketches and artwork were a constant in her life. She found solace, especially in her final days, drawing how she felt. Her sketchbooks will be something the family will treasure to look back on her journey. She also had a beautiful voice that touched so many. She was always able to express herself in song. Whether singing her sisters oﬀ to college or her children to sleep. Jennifer is survived by her daughter, McKenzie Zurenda, and her son, Devon Bryant; her parents, Shelley and Richard McHugh; her sisters, Sarah McHugh and Erin McHugh; and her caring partner, Charles Edwards. Jennifer was a fighter through to her final days. She was beautiful, funny, and kind with a generous heart, offering love to so many. While we will all miss her dearly, we find comfort knowing she is no longer suffering and is at peace, resting in the arms of Our Lord. She comes to you - not as a child, but as a woman who has walked through fire and did not ask to be saved. She does not come to you clean- She comes to you real with her scars - with her silence - with her spirit - with her spine and her rage tempered by Grace. Her softness was sharpened by betrayal, her light burning from within, not borrowed by anyone else. She now asks not for a favor, but seeks clarity. She asks not for a crown, but for a torch. Let her now unleash any guilt or regret given to her in this life for simply existing. In her power, she found holiness and survival. She will now walk in Your path with reverence. She will honor the moon, the herbs, the dead, and the unseen, casting her truth into our world to cherish and into herself, never paying homage to those who told her that she had to earn love...
